Beautiful backcountry hiking near Valemount, BC
Located at 6000′ (1800M) elevation this is an ideal location for hiking and horse back riding.
Cradled among subalpine meadows and lakes on the boundary of Mount Robson Provincial Park, the lodge has a sunny exposure and a spectacular view. Surrounded by magnificent peaks, miles of gentle meadows and alpine basins, guests have an easy time enjoying their stay at the lodge. Plan daily hikes in the alpine meadows or ridge walks. Feeling the need for a less strenuous day? Stroll through the natural meadows around the lodge, or wander over to the lake with your fishing rod.
Upstairs, we can accommodate up to 8 people. There is a large semi-divided room; one side with two double beds and the other with a long sleeping platform and a futon. All guests bring their own sleeping bags unless prior arrangements are made. The lodge and sauna are wood-heated. There is a propane cookstove with oven, and propane lights in the kitchen and dining areas.
